After graduation I attended Mile Hi Beauty College. I did style events around the state. I moved to St.Charles MO.. for 2 years then back to Denver where I met Jack LaWall.we have been married 46 years this fall. I have 3 wonderful sons Ted, Travis, and Todd. Five grandchildren Josh, Jake, Katie, Aidan, and Kaelyn. We live in Firestone CO and have been in the building industry (electricaly) for 40 years. I also have worked in sales and marketing for various companies. Then I went on to study culinary at IPAC (International Pastry Arts Center N.Y.), Scottsdale Culinary AZ, and Emily Griffith at the Pinehurst Country Club. When I came back from IPAC I work as a pastry chef at the Denver Country Club. Now I bake for family and friends and am working on revising a honey cookbook that I published 35 years ago. My husband and I go to Tri City Baptist church in Westminster Co. My hobbies include violin which I started to play 7 years ago on a violin my Dad made, I raise orchids and roses, and I have the opportunity to teach my 2 youngest grandchildren baking one day a week. Luv it!, and paint with water colors and pen and ink. I never in my wildest dreams thought my life would go the way it has. But so glad the Lord has directed it every step of the way. What a life! |
