WRHS CLASS OF 1966 SCHOLARSHIP FUND
This was a wonderful program that allowed us to continue the legacy of our WRHS CLASS of ’66.  A scholarship fund was established in the name of the class of 1966.  All donations were 100% tax deductible.
The outstanding recipient of a $3700. scholarship was announced in May, 2022. There was review of multiple, fine applications by a WRHS66 Committee in coordination with the current WRHS Counseling Dept. (Ms. Amanda Olenberger).
The excellent winner was Ms. Sunny Collins who will start attending Colo. State University in Ft. Collins in the fall of 2022. Sunny was elected class president three times and was a student body officer. She had a 4.9 weighted grade point average with a large number of honors and advanced placement courses. Her passion had been studio dance which she will continue to pursue while majoring in business. She seeks to be able to teach dance and manage a dance studio and to enrich the cultural life of communities.
