After high school I attended the Uiversity of Colorado where I earned a degree in education. I married Bill Abbott and we had three amazing children and a twenty-eight year marriage, which ended in divorce. I was fortunate to have had two careers that I loved  I retired from Columbine High School in 2005 after a long and joyous career teaching English. In 2008 I accepted a position as a magazine editor, retiring from that job in 2014. Retirement is the best! I love having more time to spend with my children and grandchildren, to travel, and to persue new interest. Life is good!

"We have now lived in South Carolina for 10 years. We get back to Colorado occasionally, but not as often as we would like.  We, along with our daughters and grandchildren are avid Bronco fans.  We were thrilled that they won the Super Bowl!

After 35 years at Coors, Jim retired and is now working at Furman University and I am still a housewife.  Being in the southeast, we have been able to take some trips to historic places with our senior group at church that we may not have made living in Colorado.  Serving Jesus Christ is still a very important part of our lives. This information hasn't changed, so I will leave it for those who may not have seen it before.

Our oldest granddaughter is a freshman at Bob Jones University.  We also have an 18 year old  grandson and a 15 year old granddaughter.  Both of our daughters are furthering their education by taking online courses.

Our little town of Travelers Rest is becoming quite a destination place. There is a popular bike trail that goes from north of our town to Greenville. It is projected to be extended even more in the future.

We went to Jim's 50 year reunion for Englewood High School last year.  He enjoyed connecting with classmates. I  hope to make ours this year. Whether I do or not I send my best wishes to you all.
