LeRoy Knopfle

Marital status: Married
Comment: "I have been married to my lovely wife Mary for thirty fabulous years this past January.  We have two great children--Heather and Ryan.  Heather is married and lives in Charlotte NC and Ryan is married and lives in Raleigh NC, guess why we are in NC.  No grandchildren yet.

I retired this January as a Paramedic Attendant/Firefighter from Alachua County in Florida.  My wife and I then moved to NC to be closer to our children.  We plan on living in NC and coming to our cabin in Pagosa Springs three to four times a year.  I am throughly enjoying my retirement (I work three days a week on a golf course and get all the free golf I can play.)"

Bob Knott

Marital status: Married
Occupation: Retired
Comment: I retired from Accenture Federal Services - I.T. Consulting and am happily living in East Denver with my wife, Judy Taylor. Her grown daughters live nearby in Park Hill neighborhood. I swim, cycle, hike, ski, and practice meditation for fitness. Returning to long neglected literature and philosophy, I belong to a book club and will research politics through literature and film for academic conferences and blogs. It will be fun to participate in progressive, political campaigns..

Becky Kolberg (Janowski)

Comment: "It was not my intention to wind up living in the East Bay of San Francisco, but eighteen years ago I felt compelled to attend the funeral of my aunt in San Pedro.  There I met my future husband, who just happened to have recurring business in Denver.  Along with John, my marriage brought me a large and loving family.  Julie, 40 lives in St. Louis with husband Scott and our two granddaughters,Zoe, 11 and Sarah, 8.  Wendy, 38, lives and works in Vancouver, BC.  Son Brian, 36 and wife Debbi live in Fremont, CA and work in Palo Alto.  The rest of our Kolberg clan includes tons of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins!  My dad still lives in our family home in Wheat Ridge, (we come back often to visit him), and my brother Bob(WRHS class of 63) and his wife live in Whitewater, CO near Grand Junction.

Professionally, Ive gone to school a lot, but Ive always worked a little in between--banking, HR, residential & commercial lending, contract training, and now, interior design.

For fun,I love to cook (and eat!) and garden.  We treasure our friendships and opportunities to serve at our church.  I am rediscovering yoga.  For aggravation, I am involved in politics.

Kudos and thanks to Kay, Judy, Dianne and Bob for creating this reunion and website and the accompanying trip down memory lane!  Some of my favorite memories include: *Walking to school with Tracey--her wit and humor. *School dances doing the jitterbug and cha-cha with Greg Moore, a great dancer and a real gent! *Geometry class, messing-off with Doreen Coleman, Kent Johnson and Pete Gearhart.  *Drill team practices--the Baby Elephant Walk, Peter Gunn, and The St. Louie Blues.  *Our award-winning marching band.

*Jim Trumbo (may he rest in peace) serenading us in chemistry class.  *The potlucks before games (my dad still has an ugly dish in his cupboard that someone left one night!)  *The student exchange trip to Greenville, Alabama a day and a half after senior prom.  *Painting Holland Street with a giant 66 in the middle of the night (with the rest of you).  *Learning how to love going to school.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!"

Jan Kordisch (Graue)

Comment:

In 2006: Larry and I have lived in Oklahoma our entire married life (37 yrs and counting).  We found it a surprisingly wonderful place to live and raise our family of 2 girls who now have expanded the family by 4 grandchildren, collectively.  Larry has been retired for several years which has allowed us to do lots of traveling and spend time in Colorado which we still love.

I value my family and old and new friends most dear in my life and look forward to linking up with WRHS friends reunion weekend.

I think my favorite H.S. memories are of the Farmer's Barns (although being a wallflower can be extremely painful), the basketball games (go Farmers!) and singing in mixed chorus, I think we were pretty good once Mr. Dalton whipped us into shape. **********************************************************************
