Hello, Farmer classmates of '66 -
The following flyer is a reminder and invitation we received  concerning
an upcoming multi-class gathering scheduled for this Saturday.  We had
sent out information about the event earlier this spring. The comradery
ever ends with the mighty WRHS grads! Hope many of you can make it.
Please note that we have already sent in the $30.00
requested to help defray the cost of the event.

In addition, we are including a flyer from the class of 1967 which is
mustering up a reunion of band/ orchestra members for a reunion
concert  in September.

Way to go, Farmers.  Keeping the spirit alive.
Note: we will have all this information posted
on our website, as well.  wrhs66.myevent.com

WRHS – The Sixties: Annual Pot Luck Picnic Prospect Park,
                     44th & Robb, Saturday, July 29, 2017  Noon to 4.

WRHS 63 has organized an annual picnic for the WRHS 1961-1965 classes
during the past several years. This casual picnic is for Farmers, teachers, their
spouses and/or guests.

Each January 2, we reserve and pay the City of Wheat Ridge for the Prospect
Park Pavillion at 44th & Robb Street for our annual event. We like this facility
because it is covered, is adjacent to restrooms and has adequate parking.

Our Picnic Committee has just decided to expand the group to include all of
“The Sixties”. Also, we will contact the ‘WRHS Retired Staff members’
and invite them to our picnic.

We now invite the Wheat Ridge classes of 1960, 1966, 1967, 1968
and 1969
to join us for our Saturday, July 29, 2017 Picnic at Prospect
Park from Noon to 4 PM.

We provide water, ice, paper napkins and plates, plastic utensils, table coverings
and the venue.

We ask each class to pay $30, which will help to pay for the venue and set-up items.
Please send funds payable to “WRHS 1963” to
Doug Schmidt, 3350 Braun Ct. Golden, CO 80401-1665.

A donation jar is also provided to accept voluntary individual contributions
rom attendees to be used as seed money or the following year’s picnic.

The picnic is pot luck. Please bring enough food, either an appetizer, or
salad, or entrée or dessert to share with other Farmers. If you bring your
own 3.2 beer, it needs to be in cans.

We look forward to meeting Farmers from the 60’s on July 29th.

We request that each class notify their members of this event.
